Our Story

Our Story

Sally’s Children’s Trust was founded by Salem Penduka, a compassionate Zimbabwean woman whose life experience shaped her commitment to helping vulnerable children.

When Salem was young, her family faced tragedy when her twin brothers lost their parents at an early age. Fortunately, a local charitable organization stepped in and supported them through their education.

That support changed their lives.

Both brothers went on to graduate and build successful careers, with one now practicing as a doctor in the United States.

Witnessing the life-changing impact of compassionate support inspired Salem to dedicate her life to helping children facing similar challenges.

Sally’s Children’s Trust was founded to ensure that orphaned children in Zimbabwe are not denied the opportunity to learn, grow and succeed.
